One of Norway's largest and most modern fishing vessels has been handed over to the shipping company Teige Gruppen. Sunny Lady was designed by Salt Ship Design and built by Cemre Shipyard in Turkey. In addition to being a fishing vessel, the vessel is also adapted for missions in research and offshore.
Control system from Cflow will contribute to efficient operations on board
To make everyday life as an operator easier, more efficient and clear, Cflow's on-board fish management system has been carefully adapted. Cflow's own control system monitors the fish handling and storage of fish on board.
In addition, we have equipped the boat with a full-scale tank washing system with soap laying and individual zone control.
Project Manager at Cflow, Rune Kristiansen is very pleased with the project: “There has been a good cooperation with the shipping company and shipyards all the way. This has helped us to put in place a comprehensive system that ensures efficient operations and that the fish maintain the best possible quality through gentle handling and monitoring.
Among other things, Cflow has supplied customized desilage box for loading fish, compressor system for unloading with vacuum and pressure, RSW plant with control system, ozone system, pump system for water circulation, light and washing nozzles for fish tanks, as well as customized control system with screen control.
The new vessel is designed with year-round operation in mind, and will be able to serve research and some offshore missions outside the fishing season. In addition, the boat has certification as a cargo boat and is reinforced against ice.
Sunny Lady has been developed with the environment in mind and is equipped with combined diesel, LNG and battery propulsion. The choice of fuel should help reduce NOx emissions equivalent to 50,000 passenger cars.
